The members of Dal Shabet have been named promotional ambassadors for the upcoming World Bamboo Fair 2015.

The group, consisting of members Ah Young, Serri, Jiyul, Woohee, GaEun, and Subin, will be the face of the event for all promotional campaign materials including print ads and a commercial.

Dal Shabet were appointed on Thursday, April 23 in a small ceremony.

"Dal Shabet's lively and innocent image fits well with our fair, and so they were appointed as promotional ambassadors," said a Bamboo Fair representative.

The representative also expressed the hope that Dal Shabet will help attract many young people to participate in the festival.

"Just as Dal Shabet is popular among young people, we believe they will be that much more effective in promoting the exhibition," he said.

This year's theme for the World Bamboo Fair is Bamboo for a greener future. The fair will be held on Sept. 17 to Oct. 31 in Damyang-gun and Jeollanam-do in South Korea.
