f(x) Conspicuously Missing From Rumored Girl Group Comeback List For May And June

The time for girl group comebacks seems imminent after recent reports, but one group is noticeably missing from a competitive list of K-pop idol groups.

As noted by Koreaboo, a recent report from Sports Donga alleged that several prominent girl groups are preparing to make their comebacks for the summer, particularly for the month of June. Reportedly, Girls' Generation, Kara, Sistar, Girl's Day and Apink are all speculated to return in the coming months, and the phrase "girl group era" has been used to describe the potential competition between the K-pop idols.

However, SM Entertainment's girl group f(x) has not been discussed in these predictions, despite the fact that they traditionally come back during the summer of every year.

In March, f(x)'s Victoria Song was interviewed by Chinese media on the set of the television series "Beautiful Secret." According to media outlets, Victoria hinted at f(x)'s comeback during the interview while discussing her personal activities.

"Be it singing or acting, I hope that I can develop myself as an all-rounded individual with my work both in China and in Korea," said Song.

Earlier this month, f(x)'s Krystal Jung also reportedly mentioned the group being in the midst of an album preparation at a launch event in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.

The SM Entertainment's group's comeback would mark the first time all five members of f(x) have appeared together since last year's promotional era for "Red Light." As previously reported, Choi Jin-ri (Sulli) has avoided the public eye since her relationship with the rapper Choiza was revealed to the public.

According to allkpop, the couple was recently photographed in Seoul in what appeared to be a romantic date. As controversy erupted once again, a rep for Sulli responded to the photographs in kind.

"We've confirmed the picture is of her," read a statement from Sulli's team. "We've acknowledged publicly that the two are in a romantic relationship, and this is part of their private life, so the company will not get involved."
