Michael Schumacher's Son Mick Makes Legend Proud Scoring First F4 Win As Daughter Gina Marie Also Shows Off Competitive Genes; Racer's Health Condition Still Scarce

Mick Schumacher is off to a good start in his bid to follow after his dad, Michael Schumacher's footsteps, as the teenager won his first F4 race at the Oschersleben track in German y. It's a bit of a good news amid the lack of updates on the seven-time F1 champion's health condition.

Michael Schumacher's other daughter, Gina, also proved that the love of competition runs in the family's genes as she's trying to carve a career in NRHA European Futurity Horse Show in Germany.

However, Mick Schumacher already won accolades even before he assumed his father's name, (he previously carried his mother's maiden name to dissociate himself from Michael Schumacher, whose health condition remains fragile after the skiing accident), winning the Best Rookie Award for Dutch Van Amersfoort Racing.

"Racing runs in Mick's family - his father regarded by most as the best and most successful Formula 1 driver of all time, and his uncle Ralf Schumacher, who also had success in Formula One," Sportskeeda said.

With Michael Schumacher's health condition still uncertain, Mick Schumacher is reportedly being trained by Sebastian Vettel.

"Vettel is famously a protege of Michael, who has been one of his childhood icons," the article added.

"In an echo of Schumacher, the younger German champion is also now a Ferrari driver, alongside The Iceman, Kimi Raikkonen. Mentored himself by M. Schumacher, Vettel is now guiding M. Schumacher himself."

Michael Schumacher's daughter, Gina, meanwhile, "rode a number of different horses in the competition earlier this week and is expected to take part in the final this weekend if her strong form continues," reported the Daily Express

On the other hand, reports about Michael Schumacher's health condition remains scarce as the family imposed a news blackout on his true state. Reportedly, the F1 champion's manager, Sabine Kehm has been monitoring reports about his condition and threatening lawsuits.
