'Music Core' Showreel: EXO Wins On The May 2, 2015 Episode + Performance Recap

MBC's Music Core is back for another week of great performances from some of your favorite K-pop stars. Great performances and fan chants were all heard and seen on the May 2 episode.

The stars who made their comeback were Lim Kim as she is playing the "Love Game," BTS said "I Need U," CLC are in love at "Eighteen," Im Se Jun said do not "Lie," and Jimin along with J.Don made their unit debut with "GOD."

Your nominees for the May 2 episode were J.Y. Park, EXID, and EXO. The winner was EXO for their hit single titled, "Call Me Baby." Congratulations to the guys.

This being said, here are the performances that were seen on May 2.

Performances From The May 2 Episode

Jimin and J.Don; "GOD"

AOA's Jimin and J.Don showcased their great rap skills on May 2. The duo sang the single titled, "GOD" and entertained the audience.

Jimin and J.Don are initiating FNC Entertainment's new collaboration series, N Project. The single was produced by Brand New Music's Rhymer and Assbrass.

BTS; "I Need U"

BTS said "I Need U" as they made their hot comeback on the May 2 episode. With a powerful emotional ballad song, the guys showcased their charisma and performed with lots of energy. The message of the song is about needing a woman.

Lim Kim; "Love Game"

Lim Kim entranced her fans on the May 2 episode. She sang her new single titled, "Love Game" and showcased her amazing voice. With a great voice and body, Lim Kim stole her fans' heart again.

The chorus is catchy and one that her fans are loving. The camera person did a lot of zooming in and out while Lim Kim performed.

Im Se Jun; "Lie"

Im Se Jun sang his new single titled, "Lie" on the May 2 episode. The message of the song is regarding a couple who is happy. Though with them being happy, the couple is plagued with a cheating girlfriend.

The song describes how a person is miserable and captures the feelings of a torn heart.

Red Velvet; "Ice Cream Cake"

Red Velvet sang their hit single titled, "Ice Cream Cake" on the May 2 episode. Red Velvet are doing a great job as they entertain their fans on the music shows each week.

The ladies wore cheerleading outfits for their performance. Red Velvet's single ranks number eight on the music show's chart this week.

Crayon Pop; "FM"

Defenders of the world Crayon Pop sang their single titled, "FM" on the May 2 episode. The ladies wore green colored warrior outfits for their performance.

Once again, Crayon Pop's performance was cut to less than three minutes long. Loud female screams were heard while Crayon Pop performed as well.

Dal Shabet; "Joker"

Dal Shabet sang their single titled, "Joker" on the May 2 episode. The outfits that the ladies wore was Alice in Wonderland inspired; which their fans liked.

Dal Shabet's performance was cut to less than three minutes long. With the time they had, Dal Shabet entertained their fans. The single ranks number 21 on the music show's chart this week.

UNIQ; "EOEO"

Someone call 911, female fans for UNIQ fainted because their performance was hot on May 2. UNIQ sang their new single titled, "EOEO" and entertained the audience.

The guys are all grown-up; which they did a great job of showcasing it on stage.

Shin Ji Soo; "Hey Jude"

Shin Ji Soo said "Hey Jude" on the May 2 episode. Featuring on stage with her is Sleeq as she showcased her amazing rap skills.

Her performance was cut to less than three minutes. With the time she had, Shin Ji Soo did a great job of entertaining the audience.

Park Bo Ram; "I Want to Date"

Park Bo Ram sang her new single titled, "I Want to Date" on the May 2 episode. Her performance was cut to less than three minutes long. Though with the time she had, Park Bo Ram did a great job of entertaining the audience.

Park Bo Ram's single is one that all ladies can relate to because it is about falling in love. Park Bo Ram's single ranks number 11 this week.

So Yumi; "Shake Me Up"

So Yumi said "Shake Me Up" as she sang her cute single on the May 2 episode. Each week, So Yumi has a different bear that is coming on stage.

So Yumi's single is trot; which she is doing a great job entertaining the audience on the music show's each week.
