K-Pop Crossover: 2NE1's CL To Perform At Austin City Limits Festival Alongside Drake And A$AP Rocky?

If you're a fan of 2NE1's Lee "CL" Chaerin, be sure to mark your calendars down for the 2015 Austin City Limits Music Festival (ACL).

Recently, the annual music festival uploaded their alleged lineup for this October's two-weekend celebration. Although the roster was later removed, observers could see CL's name attached to ACL alongside hip-hop artists like Drake and A$AP Rocky.

"Only place you will find Major Lazer and Pearl Jam in the same spot," wrote YouTube Myles Donovan regarding the festival.

Given CL's close relationship with Diplo (the creator of Major Lazer) and Skrillex (who performed at last year's ACL festival), it would make sense for the Korean rapper to make an appearance as part of her solo debut.

"CL's album, I'm working really closely on," said Diplo to iHeartRadio.

"She's a Korean pop star who sings and raps. She's on Skrillex and my 'Dirty Vibe' song. She's just awesome. I'm so proud of the stuff we did. She's really cool. We have a song coming out next month with me, her, Riff Raff and OG Maco, and it's a rap song called 'Dr. Pepper.' It's really cool."

This festival is not the only venue American fans can potentially catch CL this year.

Organized by Diplo's record label Mad Decent, the Mad Decent Block Party focuses on global pop and dance music. This year, 22 concerts across 19 cities have been announced in North America, and CL will appear in three performances in August and September.

"CL will be appearing for a total of three times, on August 9 in New York's Brooklyn, on Sept. 11 in California's Berkley and Sept. 19 in Los Angeles," confirmed YG Entertainment's blog YG-Life.

Reportedly, CL will be joined by artists like Diplo, Skrillex and T-Pain at the Mad Decent Block Party.

The 2015 Austin City Limits Music Festival will run from Oct. 2 to Oct. 4 and Oct. 9 to Oct. 11.
