In a new clip from an upcoming E! special, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce," Kim Kardashian tells her mom Kris Jenner to "let go" of her life with Bruce Jenner, now that Bruce is transitioning into a woman.

According to E! News, in the clip, Kim Kardashian tries to console her weeping mother Kris Jenner while talking to her about Bruce's transition into a woman.

"I have these memories of this life, and I feel sometimes like it didn't exist," Kris says, tears streaming down her face.

Kim explains to her mom that the issue is bigger than her.

"He has to deal with this for his entire life of waking up and feeling like 'whoa, this isn't my body. This doesn't feel comfortable,'" Kim tells Kris.

"You really have to like let go."

During a 20/20 special last month, Bruce Jenner revealed that "For all intents and purposes, I am a woman."

He told Diane Sawyer that Kanye West helped Kim Kardashian get over the surprise.

"He says to Kim, 'Look, I can be married to the most beautiful woman in the world, and I am. I can have the most beautiful daughter in the world, and I have that. But I'm nothing if I can't be me. If I can't be true to myself, it doesn't mean anything.'"

The two-part special, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce," premieres Sunday, May 17, at 9:00 p.m. and part two airs Monday, May 18, at 9:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, notable names like Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum and comedienne Ellen DeGeneres.

Ellen DeGeneres praised Bruce Jenner and called him "incredibly brave" in a segment on her show.

"It took a lot of courage to do that," DeGeneres said on her show last week. "Even if you don't understand it, and I'm sure there are a lot of people who don't understand it, you have to admire someone who is willing to risk ridicule and tell the truth. It's so much easier to live your life keeping a secret because we all want to fit in."
