Julianna Margulies On 'The Good Wife' Season 6 Finale Kalinda Alicia Goodbye: 'You Won't Be Disappointed'

Despite a long on-screen hiatus, the departure of Archie Panjabi's Kalinda will have one last goodbye with Julianna Margulies' Alicia. But will it satiate fans that have been missing their interactions for over 50 episodes?

Recently, E! Online caught up with Julianna Margulies after she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Here, she addressed the long-discussed question of closure for Alicia and Kalinda.

"Here's what I'll say: You won't be disappointed," said Margulies. "I'm just saying, you won't be disappointed."

Shortly after Sunday's episode of "The Good Wife," a new promo for the season 6 finale premiered online, showing Alicia answering the door to her home and being taken aback by who it is.

"Well, considering it really played up the 'I don't have friends and I don't know why' line while focusing on who's behind the door, I'm guessing Kalinda," wrote TVLine reader Kate.

During an interview with Vulture, "The Good Wife" co-creators Michelle and Robert King also spoke on Kalinda returning once more for the finale before Panjabi's permanent departure.

"Alicia and Kalinda will be together," said Robert King. "And I believe leter will be involved. But not in a 'Fifty Shades of Grey' way!"

During the most recent PaleyFest for "The Good Wife," executive producer Robert King shared some spoilers on Kalinda and Alicia, asking fans to "stay tuned."

"Some of our favorite moments in the first two years were their drinking scenes together and the friendship that was there," he said. "[But] we always bumped up against the reality of what would really happen if one of your friends slept with your spouse."
