Is Bobby Brown in denial of the true condition of daughter, Bobbi Kristina?

Bobby Brown has been saying that Bobbi Kristina has already woken up from her medically induced coma, a claim that Whitney Houston's family has denied.

Christopher Brown, Bobby Brown's lawyer, also released a statement claiming that Whitney Houston's daughter has already "opened her eyes," and "there has been improvement" in her medical condition.

The statement went on to say that Bobbi Kristina Brown will still undergo rehabilitation "and the quality of her life will not be known for years to come."

Pat Houston and Cissy Houston, meanwhile, have been reportedly telling Bobby Brown to take Bobbi Kristina off life support and to let his daughter go, in light of her medically induced coma, but there could be some "motivation" on their part, considering that she has no will and her $20 million inheritance would go to them, said Celebrity Dirty Laundry.

"Those are two very different claims. Several situations could be playing out here," CDL added. "One is that Bobby Brown is in denial regarding his daughter's condition, and the Houstons are ready to take the inheritance and move on. Or, Bobby is holding onto his daughter's life with the slim chance of recovery, while trying to keep the greedy Houston family from cashing in."

Bobby Brown has already filed for guardianship over her estate should Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition gets worse.

"Bobby is Krissy's father. He only wants what's best for her. This is not about him taking her money - he has money of his own. This is about making sure that she will have the best care for as long as she needs ... The truth is that he wants to get her the best care she can possibly get, that's all," a source told People magazine reported.

Meanwhile, boyfriend Nick Gordon is reportedly desperate to see Bobbi Kristina Brown to confirm for himself the conflicting reports about her medically induced coma, particularly on whether the claim of Whitney Houston's husband that her condition has already improved.
