The breakup netween Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield have sent numerous fans into mourning.

As reported previously, Andrew Garfield cheated on Emma while he was in Taiwan taping for a new film titled, "Silence." OK! Magazine confirms the report and even releases a statement from their source. "He says that he met a girl in a bar, and that he would never dream of doing anything like that ever again," said the source. 

As to how Emma reacted, "She was horrified," shared the site's source. "She never thought that he'd be capable of this in a million years, and she's beside herself."

"She feels betrayed and says that she can't be with someone she doesn't trust," the source added. "She knows that they can't be together every second of every day and doesn't want to be constantly worried that he'll cheat again."

To add to this, the couple has not been spotted together for a couple of months now. Fans say that this might just be because of the fact that Andrew is filming in Taiwan and Emma is busy doing other things as well. 

Regardless of their apparent busy schedules, fans say that if they were indeed in a relationship, then the public would ideally be seeing photos of them meeting up somewhere to catch up and do what couples do. They say that the distance and the busy schedule should not have been a factor as to why they have not been spotted together at all. Emma could have visited Andrew in his set in Taiwan if she really wanted to, much like the time when actor Daniel Craig accompanied his wife Rachel Weisz during her filming for "The Bourne Legacy" in the Philippines.

The fact that both Emma and Andrew have not done anything to bridge their gap, tells the fans that it is indeed over between them.

However, some are still hopeful that despite the confirmation from magazines, the breakup still is not final. Fans speculate about the possibility that Andrew might just be waiting for his filming to end, then he would eventually try to pursue Emma again for another shot at their highly-public relationship.
