When Will The New Limp Bizkit Album Be Released? Guitarist Wes Borland Sheds Light About Their Progress

Following the success of their "Significant Other" and "Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavored Water" that catapulted their fame to the top, Limp Bizkit is set to release a new album soon which will already be their seventh record.

In a report by Metal Insider, the upcoming release, entitled "Stampede Of The Disco Elephants," would be the first LP that would be without DJ Lethal.

In the report, guitarist Wes Borland talked about the band's progress with regard to recording and how the band changed the sound of the tracks throughout the years.

"To be blatantly honest about it, the new album has gone through so many different alterations and so many different session," Borland said. "I mean, we've gone into five different studios now. I think we're up to 28 songs, or maybe even more. And those are completed songs."

He added that although the new album of Limp Bizkit has been delayed numerous times, members are still 100 percent working hard on the record, as they have already prepared songs enough for two releases.

"Fred [Durst] has been working on vocals in his home studio nonstop for months and months," he said. "He's told me that he's almost finished, but I don't know what amount of the 28 songs has been finished. I know that he re-records and trashes vocals all the time."

"I don't know, I think he's in a mode where he's liking something that he's doing and not liking other stuff. But I think he's just now starting to feel a lot more confident in what he's putting in the songs."
In a different report by Blabbermouth, front man Fred Durst introduced what fans should expect from the upcoming record and how different they would make the LP sound.

"It's a little crazier than usual. It's more off the wall, pretty outrageous," Durst said. "It's hard to explain, but I think this will be the one, which changes the way we make music from here on out. The way 'Paul's Boutique' did for the Beastie Boys."

With the official release date of the new Limp Bizkit album still unknown, it is speculated by fans that the record would be at least released before the year ends.
