Seoul Music Award 2013; Big Winners Include Super Junior, Psy, Big Bang [VIDEO]

The 22nd Annual Seoul Music Award 2013 gathered the best of K-Pop super-stardom in one place on Thursday night in Seoul. Hot idols including Super Junior, Psy, Big Bang, 2NE1, K. Will, and Girls' Generation, and Epik High went head to head for some of the biggest honors at the Seoul Music Awards.

Psy took home the highest honor at the 2013 Seoul Music Awards--Daesang Award. He also swept the award for "Best Single of the Year." Although Super Junior took home the Daesang Award last year, they still received great recognition at the 2013 Seoul Music Awards. The "Sexy, Free & Single" boy group took home the Bonsang Award and the Hallyu Special Award.

G Dragon took the honor for Record of the Year with "One of A Kind." The award for R&B Ballad went to K. Will and the Hip Hop/Rap award to Double K. Best OST Award went to CNBLUE's Jonghyun. The Performance Culture Award went to Kim Jang Hoon.

SISTAR took home the award for Digital Record of the Year, for "Alone." And SHINee's Lee Seung Gi won for High 1/Mobile Popularity.

Previous winners of the Daesang Award include stars like Girls' Generation, TVXQ, Wonder Girls, and BoA have taken home this grand prize.

Psy's mega-success all around the world has placed a great spotlight on Korean pop music and entertainment. Girls' Generation also hopes to make an international break through by releasing songs in English this year.
