Tom Cruise is not looking for a new wife in order to restore his image. Earlier reports said that the Hollywood actor was on the look out for wife number four, and that the Church of Scientology was helping him decided on who fits the bill.

According to a previous report by Life And Style quoted by Gossip Cop, Cruise wanted to "save his reputation." And so the church is "putting several gung-ho (female) Scientologists through a graduate school-type program as a vetting process." Allegedly, this will help weed out those who do not fit in with Cruise' requirements for a spouse.

Further, the courses that the candidates have to take include a class on "proper etiquette and behavior," which the successful wife will have to apply when out and about with Cruise, because the actor is always under public scrutiny.

The ideal wife for Tom Cruise according to the gossip magazine is "beautiful, smart and under 5-foot-5." And the chosen woman could expect a lavish European proposal and wedding such as the one that happened when the "Mission Impossible" star married Katie Holmes in a castle in Italy.

According to the source cited above, Life and Style further said that several well-known actresses have auditioned for the role, even with the various controversial stories about Scientology that Cruise' ex-wives Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes have revealed about Scientology.

But Gossip Cop's source, who is supposedly "close to the situation" denied all the rumors that were reported by the magazine.

Cruise' marriage to Nicole Kidman was put in the spotlight recently when HBO released a documentary on the Church of Scientology. "Going Clear," which was based on the book of the same name by Lawrence Wright, alleges that Tom Cruise had his wife, Nicole Kidman's phone conversations tapped when they were still married.
