2PM member Taecyeon and Taiwan Idol Star Wu Ying Jie will be a couple together for the world verson of "We Got Married."

According to the MBC officials today, Taecyeon has made his final confirmation to play his role in the show. 

The two, being from different backgrounds, will reveal the everyday life of a couple with different ethnicities.

Taecyeon, being born in 1988, is one year older than Wu Ying Jie, born in 1989. Wu Ying Jie was part of a idol group in 2006 called Hello Girls and also appeared in several dramas.

Previously, there have been many different background couples on the show such as 2PM Nichkhun and f(x) Victoria and currently Julien Kang and Yoon Sae Ah. 

With the start of Taecyeon and Wu Ying Jie, the global version of the show will begin. KARA Nicole is also in discussion with the team to see whether or not she will join the show as well.

MBC has teamed up with Sony to broadcast the global version of the show in 41 different counties.
