K-pop groups usually employ two types of approaches to comebacks. The first type is to announce the comeback and release teasers leading up to the big day. The sad part for fans is that this means waiting excitedly for months.

Luckily for Shawols, the second approach of just announcing a comeback right before their favorite group comes back. That is to say, there will not be much waiting involved this time.

SHINee fans are getting plenty of action this week as shortly after announcing their comeback, the boys released new concept photos and a second trailer. The photos and the new trailer give off a colorful yet curious image for their new album entitled "Odd." Fans can check out the new trailer and photos below.

Earlier this year, Minho announced that the group was preparing an album release after finishing their Dome Tour in Japan.

""We are in the midst of preparations. As it has been a while since our last Korean album, and we are also excited. We don't want to disappoint our fans, so we are preparing hard for the album," said Minho (via Soompi).

Minho suggested that the release would take until the end of the year, but now it looks like SHINee will be back right at the beginning of this summer. Specifically, their album "Odd" will be released on May 18, after their SHINee World IV concert in Seoul. The first single off the album will be entitled "View."

According to a post from SHINee's official Kakao account, Jonghyun helped with the lyrics for "View". Additionally, the track was produced by British composing team LDN Noise. The track is reported to have a "refined and sensual sound," so fans are likely in for a treat when the song is released.
