Anna Camp and Skylar Astin met and fell in love on the set of "Pitch Perfect" and now she's gushing about her boyfriend for being so sweet.

In an interview, Anna Camp said that Skylar Astin in real life resembles his character in "Pitch Perfect 2."

"We're really best friends, so it's awesome," she said. "He's definitely sweet like his character is."

Skylar Astin plays Jesse, the boyfriend of Beca in "Pitch Perfect 2." This time, Anna Camp and her boyfriend don't share scenes together.

"So, yeah, it was great. We had a great time when we saw each other on set. It was awesome," she added.

It also helps that Skylar Astin and Anna Camp share the same interests.

"I sing. My first job was a musical so I've been singing off and on for a while. More in the shower than not. So I was happy to get cast in a musical role which is really, really fun. And he's a fantastic singer and was a singer on Broadway," she added.

Skylar Astin returns to his musical roots in "James and the Giant Peach" along with Criss Darren of "Glee."

"An ultra-casual Pitch fan may not know that Astin was an original player in the Broadway production of Spring Awakening back in 2006, but here he returns to his musical theater roots," Entertainment Weekly reported.

Earlier, Anna Camp confessed to VH1 that it's sometimes hard to see her boyfriend getting it on with other actors.

"Camp wasn't shy to admit that while watching each other get intimate with other actors isn't the best thing in the world, they're completely supportive of each other," the report added. "After all, Astin does have to watch Camp kiss Ebon Moss-Bachrach on stage every night."

"Pitch Perfect 2" will be shown in theaters on May 15.
