KARA Receives Offer from Kobalt Music to Advance into European Market! 'Do they have what it Takes?'

Erratum 2/12/13:  Kobalt Music has contacted KpopStarz refuting this article. According to Kobalt: "Please note, KARA is not a client of Kobalt Music Group and we have not issued (nor approved)any information related to this group. Any article speculating of any relationship is seemingly an error in reporting." Since KpopStarz only received an update from Korean newswire on this issue when first published, we are open for comments from DSP Media.  We temporarily retract this article due to the flag raised by Kobalt.

Girl group KARA has received an offer from a U.K. agency.

Yesterday, DSP Media stated that they did indeed receive an offer from Kobalt Music. Kobalt Music stated, "KARA has the power and skill to succeed in the U.K. and Europe."

Kobalt Music is a music service company that manages the music copyrights of artists such as Adam Lambert, LMFAO and more.

Kobalt Music feels that KARA has what it takes to make it to the European market. Kobalt wants to reveal their new songs through KARA as well as introduce KARA's hit songs to the European market.

DSP Media commented, "We will revise and go through the entire offer before making a decision."

KARA is also the first girl group to hold a solo concert at the Tokyo Dome in Japan.

If the group does end up teaming with Kobalt, they will be able to expand their music to more parts of the world.

KARA has also been featured on U.K. magazine, Dazed and Confused, last year as well.

On the other hand, the 5 members also released a special album with solo songs from each of the members as well.
