INFINITE member Sunggyu made a successful comeback through Mnet "M Countdown" with performances of "The Answer" and "Kontrol" on May 14.

Despite not performing INFINITE's stylish choreography the group is known for, Sunggyu impressed the audience by filling the entire stage with just one microphone and his powerful vocals. Both "The Answer" and "Kontrol" were produced by Nell's Kim Jongwan, and he is said to have put much effort into composing tracks that highlight Sunggyu's masculinity and deepened sensibility.

Sunggyu's new solo album, "27," topped Hanteo chart and ranked 48th in U.S iTunes top albums chart upon its release on May 11. "The Answer" topped various music sites upon release as well.

Sunggyu plans to continue his solo album activities and he will perform at KBS 2TV Music Bank on May 15, MBC Show! Music Core on May 16, and SBS Inkigayo on May 17.
