SISTAR Confirms June Return To Compete With Girls' Generation

It looks like two of K-Pop's most popular girl groups will be going head to head in the music charts next month.

Starship Entertainment group SISTAR recently announced they will add themselves to the growing list of scheduled comebacks for June.

According to an associate within the group's record label, the SISTAR members are currently working hard on their comeback because they will directly compete against other returning female groups including SM Entertainment's popular band Girls' Generation, who also announced a group comeback next month.

"SISTAR is working towards a mid-June comeback and is in the process of finalizing a comeback date," said the associate, as reported by Soompi. "They are in the final stages of working on their album. They’re putting in a lot of effort into their title song."

SISTAR's last promotional activity was in 2014 when the ladies released two singles, "Touch My Body" and "I Swear." SISTAR consists of members Soyou, Hyorin, Dasom, and Bora.
