Bruce Jenner's Sex Change Reality Show Gets Support From Laverne Cox; 'Orange Is The New Black' Star Praises Transgender People Featured On TV

Bruce Jenner's sex change reality show is being supported by actress and LGBT advocate Laverne Cox. According to a report from New York Daily News, the "Orange is the New Black" star praised transgender people who are being featured on TV.

Laverne Cox was present at the recently concluded 2015 Billboard Music Awards, where she admitted that she will watch Bruce Jenner's sex change reality show to be aired on E!

"I always try to watch when trans folks are on TV," said the "Orange is the New Black" actress.

"I think it's powerful when another transgendered person come out and shares who they are."

Aside from Laverne Cox of "Orange is the New Black," another person who gushed about Bruce Jenner at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards was his supermodel daughter, Kendall Jenner.

"Honestly, I've never seen him happier. That alone makes me so happy," the 19-year-old aspiring model said.

"To see him happy and see him going through this and staying so strong and really think about his kids is amazing."

Prior to Bruce Jenner's sex change reality show, the former Olympian had a two-part "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" special. The feature showed how the father-of-six came out to Kendall Jenner and the rest of his children.

"He's the most amazing person I know," Kendall Jenner said in the Bruce Jenner TV special.

"I couldn't ask for a better dad. He taught me how to ride a bike and be the tomboy that I am."

X17 Online recently reported that filming has already started for the Bruce Jenner's sex change reality show.

"Bruce was happily chatting with the crew and taking a look at all the lighting and cameras," a source revealed.

"He seemed thrilled to be the star of the show for once, and not overshadowed by his famous family."

While the 65-year-old is reportedly happy to have a solo docuseries, Bruce Jenner is thankful for the support being given by his ex-wife and "Keeping Up with the Kardashians'" infamous "momager," Kris Jenner.

"Kris is a really good woman and I love her to death," said Bruce Jenner, reported by E!Online. "The love and acceptance I have gotten from Kris is absolutely overwhelming."
