Disney Sued for Racist White Rabbit Character, Family Demands Apology

Disneyland is sued by a San Diego family allegedly stating one of their employees in a rabbit costume is racist.

The family while visiting the Disneyland Park in Anaheim was excited to see Alice in Wonderland's White Rabbit. The family is back and excitedly approached the rabbit and one of their children ran up to hug their favorite character but the employee instead turned his back on the six-year old. Their other child also tried to shake the rabbits hand but refused.

The father of the children, Jason LeRoy Black Sr. thought they were not allowed to touch children however later found this was not the case. After filing a complaint, the family was offered VIP passes which they declined.

The family's attorney, Dan Gilleon stated, "They're not trying to get something they don't deserve. In fact, all they've asked for is a little bit of recognition that this should not have happened."
