Shinhwa member Kim Dong Wan has apologized for uploading a photo of an obsessed fan - also known as a sasaeng - on his social media account. He has since taken down the photo and asked everyone to stop harassing the obsessed fan.

The obsessed fan was following Kim Dong Wan around the airport with a camera in hand. She was also rudely pushing other people and luggage out of the way just to be able to film the Shinhwa idol, reports Netizenbuzz.

Upset by the fan's behavior, Kim Dong Wan took a photo of the fan and uploaded it on his social media account.

While the sasaeng fan's face was not fully revealed because she had a camera held up to her face, Kim Dong Wan's upload and recounting of the story spurred on other fans to attack the sasaeng fan through harsh online comments. This led the idol to take down the photo, apologize for his action and urge his fan base to stop their harsh online criticisms.

Online commenters have been debating whether it was right for Kim Dong Wan to upload the photo, and many seem to be siding with the idol.

"Kim Dong Wan wasn't out of line, some of the photo taking fans at the airports are nuts," said one online commenter which garnered nearly 20,000 likes, as compiled and translated by Netizenbuzz.

"Fans need to learn some manners," "He did the right thing. Sasaengs won't learn until they get what's coming," said a couple of other top-ranked online commenters.
