Fans Note Similarities Between Taylor Swift's 'Bad Blood' And 2NE1's 'Come Back Home' Music Videos

After the launch of her latest music video, megastar Taylor Swift may have created "Bad Blood" between her and 2NE1 fans.

On Sunday, Taylor Swift premiered the music video to "Bad Blood," the fourth single off of the wildly successful "1989" album. Since breaking Vevo's 24-hour viewing record, however, some K-pop fans are accusing the pop star of emulating 2NE1's music video for their 2014 hit single, "Come Back Home."

"You know K-pop is getting big when Taylor Swift's newest music video is 'similar' to 2NE1's 'Come Back Home' music video," tweeted Addictress06. "I guess she just paid homage."

In truth, Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" is an homage to her feud with another pop star, one that everyone believes to be Katy Perry.

"For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not," said Swift during an interview with Rolling Stone.

"Then last year, the other star crossed a line. She did something so horrible, I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy! It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I'm surprisingly non-confrontational. You would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It's awkward, and I don't like it."

According to YG-Life, the inspiration behind "Come Back Home" is based on the "surreal alien-like ambience of a different planet."

"The equipment and outfits remind you of the outer space, and 2NE1's acting sets them apart from their usual image," read the blog post. "The newest music video was even more embellished by the members' unique visual effects and dynamic computer graphic work that could be seen in movies."
