The lovebirds were rumored to be on a break for a month after they were not seen together in a long time.

But according to E! News, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone never really broke up.

The source claimed, "It was always a 'break' due to schedules. They have been really busy, so they finally have had time to see each other again. They care for each other and always have the best time when together."

The rumor about the Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield breakup was reported by tabloid Star Magazine which claimed that their busy schedules drove a wedge into their relationship.

"It's clear they've drifted apart. It's an unspoken issue, but everybody knows they are on hold. Yes, Andrew was filming but he could have gotten away if he really wanted to. The fact was, neither one of them wanted to plaster on a smile [nor] pretend everything was OK when it wasn't."

On Wednesday, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone offered proof that they were not on a break after stepping out for sushi in West Hollywood.

According to E! News, the couple wasn't shy about displaying a lot of PDA.

"Emma and Andrew were dressed super casual and sat at the sushi bar for their meal. Garfield wrapped his arm around his lady at one point, according to the insider, and spotted fellow celeb pal Amy Poehler at the restaurant before leaving," the article said.

"The famous trio stopped and chatted for a few minutes before leaving the venue."

The rumored breakup between Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield could be attributed to the fact that "The Amazing Spider-Man" actor was shooting on location in Taiwan for his next movie, "Silence," directed by Martin Scorsese.
