Portia de Rossi claimed that partner Ellen DeGeneres was angry at her for dishing spoilers on her show "Scandal."

During the Q&A at ArcLight Sherman Oaks on Wednesday night, as reported by Daily Mail, the 42-year-old Aussie beauty said that she had to keep it secret so she won't preempt the announcement that she has been cast as series regular for "Scandal."

"She was happy for me, but she was also mad that she didn't find out like everyone else," Portia De Rossi said of Ellen DeGeneres.

Portia de Rossi and partner Ellen DeGeneres have been the subject of nasty split rumors as the tabloids have claimed that they were always fighting and on the verge of a breakup.

Meanwhile, the former "Ally McBeal" star elaborated in an interview with TVLine that she was so excited that Lizzie Bear was promoted to new Chief of Staff on the season finale.

"So I printed out the pages and I was holding them and I said to her, 'Can I please tell you something.' She resisted for a while but I had to tell her. I just told her [the Chief of Staff] thing," she said. "She really does get angry [about spoilers]. It's really quite sweet. But I had to tell somebody. And I don't trust anybody else."

Portia de Rossi also said that she's very excited about going into next season as a regular cast of "Scandal."

"I've been here for the entire season, so, honestly, I already feel like I'm part of the family," she said.

"It would've been very sad for me not to come back. And to come back with a guarantee of a few more episodes than [I was in this season] is really fantastic. It's just a great ensemble cast."

Ellen DeGeneres' wife added, "And we're all really excited about the show - still. I came on as a fan, but all the actors are just as excited as when they first started the show. And I love Shonda Rhimes. I love Shonda Rhimes."
