'Thor 3' 2017 Casting and Plot Rumors: "Thor: Ragnarok," the third installment in the Thor franchise, will follow Loki, now disguised as Odin, during the end of Asgard and the world.  According to Norse mythology, Ragnarok was a great battle that will mean the end of gods like Odin, Heimdallr, Thor, and Loki.

According to reports, the upcoming Thor 3 2017 will see a major disruption in the Marvel Universe. Rumors say Loki will start a war between Midgard and Asgard at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron setting up Thor 3.

"Thor 3: Ragnarok" features Chris Hemsworth as "Thor." The Norse god returns to Asgard to defend his Asgard from complete annihilation.

The Marvel superhero franchise will come to a crashing close because of a female Thor, Jane Foster. Foster is Thor's girlfriend. She is suffering from cancer, which gets worse after she uses the Mjolnir. 

The female Thor is rumored to be Natalie Portman.

"Thor: Ragnarok" may see Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth, loses Mjolnir in a battle with his worst enemy yet. According to reports the main villain in Thor 3 will be Ragnarok. Ragnarok debuted in "Guradians of The Galaxy." Ragnarok has been trying to get the Infinity Gauntlet, which is kept in Asgard, to work.

If the movie stays true to the comic books, Thor will try to save the people of Asgard from destruction. Thor's brother Loki  faked his death at the end of  "Thor: The Dark World" to fool Thor, in a plot to rob the throne of Asgard from Odin, played by veteran British actor Anthony Hopkins.

According to Viking legends Thor, Odin and Loki will die when their world gets submerged in water, and a new world surfaces. The new world will  be populated by the human race. So, if the Thor franchise sticks to mythology, the trilogy will end on a "depressing" note

"Thor 3: Ragnarok" may be losing Jeremy Renner. Renner is reportedly getting too busy to the next Thor installment. The actor is scheduled to appear in "Mission Impossible 5," "Avengers: Age of Ultron," and now "Captain America: Civil War."

Hawkeye was introduced in the first "Thor" film from 2011. Rumors say the "Thor" 3 movie will on the "end of the world." That is, if it follows Norse mythology. Ragnarok in Norse mythology signifies a series of apocalyptic events that lead the destruction of Asgard and the gods

Marvel will be hitting theaters with a full slate of superhero movies that will come out through 2020. The studios announced that there will be Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Captain America 3: Civil War, Ant Man and Avengers Age of Ultron films.

"Thor 3: Ragnarok" will be released in theaters in  2017. The "Thor 3: Ragnarok" movie was initially slated for a July 2017 release but was later on moved to the later part of 2017.
