Arizona Woman On Trial For Killing Her Boyfriend Says He Forced Himself On Her While She Was Sleeping: Watch the Trial Live [Livstream]

Testimony resumed Monday in the trial of an Arizona woman charged with killing her boyfriend after an X-rated day of sex and explicit photographs.

Jodi Arias, 32, is facing the death penalty if convicted of killing her boyfriend Travis Alexander in June of 2008. Prosecutors claimed Arias killed her boyfriend in a jealous rage, stabbing him 27 times and slitting his throat before shooting him in the head.

Arias, who is claiming the killing of her boyfriend was in self-defense, told jurors Alexander repeatedly forced himself on her unwillingly while converting her into the Mormon faith during their initial courtship.

On Monday, she told the jury a graphic story of waking up in Alexander's bed to her former boyfriend having sex with her.

"I felt like I was partially responsible because I went to sleep next to him," Arias said in the trial, according to the AP. "I was wearing a T-shirt, cute shorts."

While taking some of the blame for the incident, the accused murderer said the unwanted sex made her uncomfortable because it violated her new Mormon faith.

Arias originally told investigators she was not at the scene of the crime, later she blamed it on masked intruders. She is now claiming Alexander attacked her and she killed him in self-defense.

Friend of Arias's deceased former boyfriend Julie Haslem doesn't believe a word of Arias's testimony.

"It's bad enough that she took his life," Haslem said. "Now she's trying to take his reputation, too."

The handgun used in Alexander's murder is reportedly the same .25 caliber model that Arias's grandparents reported stolen from their Northern California home. Additionally, police say they found Arias's hair and a bloody palm print at Alexander's apartment along with a camera featuring time-dated photos from the day of the murder.

One of the photos allegedly features Arias lying on Alexander's bed. Another featured the victim's body crumpled up in the shower.

Police say the camera was discovered in Alexander's washing machine.
