Watch: Epic Glacier Collapse Caught on Camera by a Photographer in Argentina [VIDEO]

An enormous, epic ice glacier collapse was caught on camera thanks to amateur photographer Christian Grosso.

Grosso had his camera while visiting a glacier in Argentina's Patagonia to see it crack and fall, causing a huge wave in the lake below.

NASA Earth Observatory stated, the glacier referred as Perito Moreno, is one of the largest in Patagonia, a region at the southern tip of South America. This glacier is unique as it occasionally forms a natural dam preventing water flow between the two bodied of water.

"Because of this natural ice dam, meltwater from the south raises water levels in Brazo Rico by as much as 30 meters above the level of the water in Lago Argentino. The great pressure of this water ultimately causes the ice tongue to rupture catastrophically in a great natural spectacle."

Similar incident happened in March 2012, it's been reported that a large hole formed after the 2012 rupture causing the recent collapse when that ice bridge melted and cracked.
