Polaris Entertainment Says 'No Concrete Plans' For 2015 Ladies' Code Comeback

With rumors flying about that Ladies' Code will definitely be making a return to the scene this year, Polaris Entertainment has come out to dispel any notions of a guaranteed comeback.

"There are no concrete plans for a comeback," a representative for Polaris Entertainment reportedly said to TV Report, according to Koreaboo.

Ladies' Code encountered tragedy in September last year when the girl group's van careened off the road, an accident which resulted in the deaths of two members, RiSe and EunB. The group's manager who was driving the van has since been sentenced to serve more than a year of jail time.

The representative explained that the three surviving members - Ashley, Zuny and Sojung - while doing well, are still leaning on each other for support.

Last month, Polaris Entertainment described the three girls as attempting to return to normal idol life by traveling to and from their dorm, as well as continuing with their vocal and choreography lessons. The three girls are also receiving psychological counseling to help them heal emotionally.

The only activity that seems to have been confirmed for Ladies' Code this year is a memorial concert in Tokyo, Japan. The concert will be held sometime in August and will be dedicated to RiSe and EunB.

"RiSe grew up in Japan and the members always wanted to pursue activities in Japan, so we are planning a memorial concert in Japan," the agency representative reportedly said.

RiSe was laid to rest a couple of weeks ago.
