Ryan Gosling lets Eva Mendes take the spotlight for their baby daughter because he’s a pretty “shy” person! ‘The Big Short’ actor admitted that he’s not really into all this “Hollywood glamor” in a recent interview, hinting that he is only interested in his to-be wife ‘Hitch’ actress and his baby Esmeralda.

“I’m shy. And I like flying under the radar,” admitted Ryan Gosling in Germany’s Maxim magazine. “I’ve never been interested in all this Hollywood glamour. It’s far too shallow and fake. I’d much rather spend time with my family or friends. Or by myself.”

Recently Ryan Gosling returned home to Eva Mendes and baby daughter Esmeralda after shooting his most recent movie ‘The Big Short’ in New Orleans. Seeing how he has left ‘Hitch’ actress and his baby for months now, it’s only prudent for ‘Lost River’ director to return to Los Angeles.

According to Daily Mail, Ryan Gosling returned home to Los Angeles after wrapping up ‘The Big Short’.

Ryan Gosling must be pretty content about the way his movie career is going after Eva Mendes had his first baby girl. But she must not be happy about the way he seems to spend a little bit too much time working on his career.

‘Lost River’ director has been schmoozing in the industry without ‘Hitch’ actress or his daughter Esmeralda by his side.

And on top of that, Ryan Gosling is now set to star in a movie with Christian Bale, Ryan Gosling and Brad Pitt. Not too shabby!

According to Deadline, “Paramount Pictures, New Regency and Plan B Entertainment formally set Christian Bale, Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling and Brad Pitt to star in the Adam McKay-directed adaptation of Michael Lewis’ book The Big Short: Inside The Doomsday Machine.”

It seems like Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are so confident in their relationship that they have now taken to making fun of couples that have problems. ‘The Notebook’ actor and ‘Hitch’ actress are still going strong after her birthday celebrations and the birth of their baby girl.

So what did Eva Mendes say exactly about those couples that have relationship issues?

"You can't do sweatpants... ladies, number one cause of divorce in America, sweatpants, no!" she said during an interview with Extra. She added: "I feel much more comfortable in a dress or skirt."
