Big Bang dominated the monthly chart of May.

According to monthly charts released on June 1, Big Bang's "Loser" topped charts on MelOn, Mnet, Genie, Money3, Naver, Olleh, and Soribada. Similarly, "Bae Bae" took the no. 2 spot on the same music charts and showed off Big Bang's impact in the music world.

"Loser," in particular, has been holding onto its top-ranking status for a month despite many new tracks' release from other artists. As of 6 AM KST of June 1, "Loser" topped the real time charts and showed that its heat has yet to cool down.

Big Bang also reigned over music shows in the month of May. Starting with MBC Show! Music Core on May 9, Big Bang started their trophy winning streak across KBS 2TV Music Bank, Mnet M Countdown, SBS Inkigayo, MBC Show! Champion and won 10 trophies.

Big Bang won three trophies at SBS Inkigayo for three consecutive weeks and made a record of winning their 17th trophy at Mnet M Countdown on May 21.

The group drew explosive responses from their global fans as well. "M", the first project of the MADE SERIES, topped various charts in 10 countries including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippine, Singapore, and Taiwan. "Loser" and "Bae Bae" were also ranked 1st and 2nd on Billboard's World Digital Songs chart on May 8.

Meanwhile, Big Bang's new tracks "Bang Bang Bang" and "We Like 2 Party" were released at 0 AM KST of June 2.
