One of Kara's cupids may be the wealthiest female K-pop idol. 

While appearing on a telvision show Seungyeon of Kara revealed that she owned expensive property, which led to speculation about her ranking amongst wealthy female K-pop idols.  

The Korea Times reported that Han Seungyeon's purchase of a building in Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea in April of last year served as proof that Han was among the wealthier, if not the wealthiest, female K-pop girl group members. The building, located in the wealthy Cheongdam-dong neighborhood, was purchased for a little over $4 million USD and is expected to yield high rent rates after construction is completed and the apartments go on the market. 

Han mentioned her ownership on tvN's "Smart is New Sexy," a show that also discussed Seungyeon previously studying in the United States in preperation for a career as a doctor in case her chosen path as a singer didn't work out.  

It was previously reported Han Seungyeon's purchase of the building in 2014. The building reportedly contained four floors as well as a basement level. At the time of the purchase, the Cheongdamdong property housed a pharmacy, a real estate agency, a restaurant, and a Taekwondo school. 

The idol debuted as a member of Kara in 2007. Along with Park Gyuri, Han Seungyeon is one of the only two original members in the current four-member lineup.  

Kara released "Cupid" on May 25, and Seungyeon is currently promoting the song alongside the other members of the group.
