Big Bang's 'Bang Bang Bang' Debuts On U.S. iTunes Top 100 Chart And Top 10 Hip-Hop Chart

On June 1, Big Bang released the latest single album, "A," which contains the tracks "Bang Bang Bang" and "We Like 2 Party." The singles, which follow the release of "Loser" and "Bae Bae," ranked in first and second place on almost all of the Korean real-time charts. While ranking on Korean real time charts is a major accomplishment, "Bang Bang Bang" also debuted as one of the top 100 songs on iTunes in the United States.

At the time of print, "Bang Bang Bang" ranked 58th out of 100 songs listed on U.S. iTunes. The single was ranked alongside popular songs from artists including Taylor Swift, Rihanna, and 50 Cent.

"Bang Bang Bang" also ranked in the top 10 on the U.S. iTunes hip-hop chart.

These accomplishments hold significance as June 1 was a solid release date for American music. On the hip-hop chart, "Bang Bang Bang" ranked higher than the latest singles from the critically acclaimed album, "AT.LONG.LAST.A$AP" from A$AP Rocky, which was released on May 26.

"Bang Bang Bang" incorporates elements of hip-hop, trap, K-pop and electronic dance. The music video for the track as also released on June 1, received more than 2 million views on YouTube. YG Entertainment will release the music video for "We Like 2 Party" on June 5.
