K-pop girl group Nine Muses will return this summer with energetic new music for their fans.

On Thursday, June 4, a representative from Star Empire, the group's agency, confirmed the comeback. "After confirming their comeback for the beginning of July, the members of Nine Muses have officially jumped into preparations for the comeback," said the rep, as reported by Soompi.

The representative further revealed that the members will return with a bright and refreshing summer track that showcases the members' model like images. "Their concept will have the seasonal 'summer' theme and fit their 'model-idol' title by emphasizing their strong points for the best summer album," he said.

Earlier this year, in January, Nine Muses released their third mini album, Drama. The EP also marked the addition of two new members, Sojin and Keumjo, to the group. 

Nine Muses will be compete against other Korean female groups such as AOA, Girls' Generation, Girl's Day, and A Pink next month as they have also announced comeback plans for July.
