Fans Fear For Safety At Big Bang 'Made' Concert In The Philippines Following Alleged Bomb Threat By EXO Fan

An EXO fan in the Philippines wrote a bomb threat on Twitter against Big Bang's July concert in Manila, a result of the two Korean idol groups releasing music the same week in South Korea.

English language Korean celebrity news site AllKpop published an article on June 8 about the alleged bomb threat. The article quoted unofficial sources such as Twitter, and said that the concert organizers in the Philippines were taking action against the purported threat.

Big Bang's Made concert tour will be held in Manila on July 30, and fans on Twitter were concerned that the bomb threat may lead to cancellation.

No information has been confirmed or denied on the website or social media accounts of the concert organizer, Pulp Live World.

KpopStarz reached out to Pulp Live World and YG Entertainment for comments on the situation but recieved no official statement from either company.

The original Tweet is no longer available on Twitter, but the message being reshared on Twitter by fans of both K-pop acts claims to be a call to arms for EXO fans in the Philipines to bomb Big Bang's July 30 concert. Fans of both groups expressed disgust over the image being spread, saying that a bomb threat is nothing to take lightly.

Tension has been high between many K-pop fans and fandoms due to many popular K-pop acts releasing new music in June.
