SM Entertainment Confirms TVXQ's Yunho Will Enlist On July 21

SM Entertainment has revealed the date that TVXQ's Yunho (29) will enlist in the Korean army.

On Tuesday, June 9, a representative from SM Entertainment spoke out about Yunho's enlistment plans. "TVXQ’s Yunho will be enlisting on July 21," said the representative, as reported by Soompi.

"As Yunho hopes to enlist quietly, we will respect his wishes by not revealing the location or time of his enlistment," the rep added.

The name of the camp on where Yunho will train was not disclosed, though he will enlist as an active soldier once he completes his training. The length of his training will be five weeks.

Before Yunho enters the military, he has some work to do. The TVXQ member is currently working on his first solo Japanese EP which is scheduled to be released on July 8. The lead single is titled "Burning Down."

In addition to spending time in the recording studio, Yunho and TVXQ partner Changmin will hold an encore concert together at the Olympic Gymnastics Stadium in Seoul on June 13 and 14.

Yunho, born and raised in Gwangju, South Korea, made his debut with TVXQ in December 2003.
