GTX 980 Ti Release Date News And Specs: Reviews for NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 980 Ti in 4K Surround are pouring in on the internet.

Tweaktown reviewed the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 Ti G1 saying it is "superb as it has awesome cooling, it's silent, it's factory overclocked (and not a little) and combined with the default variables like the 6 GB graphics memory this product oozes performance and awesomeness."

The magazine said the GPU under the hood is "big Maxwell oh man it's a freak of nature with that kind of game rendering powah ! In this review we look deeply into the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 Ti G1 gaming. You'd expect a product with '980' in it to have a similar slightly tweaked GPU, but no Sir. The latest GM200-powered NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti at a huge 6480x3840. The reference GTX 980 Ti is similar to the Titan X, which costs $999. The EVGA GTX 980 Ti ACX 2.0+, which costs $680, outperforms the Titan X in most scenarios.

Nvidia latest GTX980Ti reference card, the 'EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti Superclocked+ ACX 2.0+ ships with a 6+2 power phase, custom cooler and a custom backplate. EVGA has over eight different GTX 980 Ti cards.

EVGA set the base GPU clock at 1102MHz. The Boost clock is 1190MHz compared to the reference 1074MHz. The memory is left at default 7GHz (effective GDDR5). The GTX 980 Ti Superclocked+ ACX 2.0+ with backplate is listed on the EVGA webshop for $680.

The GTX 980 Ti Classified ACX 2.0+ is only 50MHz faster than the Superclocked version. EVGA is preparing to introduce the GTX 980 Ti Classified Kingpin Edition, with a full copper heatsink and 15-phase VRM circuit.

NVIDIA announced and released its GeForce GTX 980 Ti on June 1, for $649. The Titan X costs $999, and offers similar performance.
