Big Bang Grab Top Spots On Billboard World Digital Song Chart

Big Bang is certainly living up to their group name with their continued explosions on music charts.

According to reports, Big Bang's latest singles "Bang Bang Bang" and "We Like 2 Party" dominated the No. 1 and No. 2 spots on Billboard's "World Digital Songs" chart dated until Jun. 20. The "A" album is the second part of the group's "Made" album series, which will be released as complete album in September.

As part of their promotions for their "Made" series, Big Bang recently appeared on Korean TV series "Happy Together 3." It was there that G-dragon talked some of his personal inspirtation by "M" series single, "Loser."

"When we appear in front of the public, we seem really successful for our age. But we're people too and we feel the same emotions," said G-dragon (via Allkpop).

G-dragon then explained the feelings he sometimes have after some of their bigger concerts:

"For example, when we perform at the Tokyo Dome, there are 60,000 fans in attendance in one day. Afterwards, we just wash up and go to bed in our separate hotel rooms. There's a strange empty feeling then. When we finish our concert, people might think we go to a fancy place for a party, but it's not like that."

According to Billboard, Big Bang is only the second K-pop artist to hold the top two spots on the "World Digital Songs" chart. The other K-pop artist to hold the coveted positions is their labelmate, Psy. He held the top two spots for his singles "Gangnam Style" and "Gentleman" back in April 2013.

"Bang Bang Bang" and "We Like 2 Party" are also doing well in terms of physical copies sold, with almost 11,000 and 7,000 copies for each single respectively.

Big Bang's topping of the international chart, it looks like the group has solidified their global popularity.
