K-Pop Crossover: WWE's Xavier Woods Claims To Be A Fan Of SHINee On Twitter

One WWE athlete is joining the ranks of Shawol.

The American wrestler Xavier Woods, a member of WWE tag team New Day, revealed his inner K-Pop fanboy on Twitter. Woods revealed that he was a fan of several songs by the Korean boy band SHINee.

On May 30, Woods first mentioned SHINee, describing the group's style "like a cherry coke slushy but for your ears."

Woods announced his discovery of the K-pop group with a picture of the cover of SHINee's first album, the 2008 release "SHINee World." The image was a screenshot, revealing that Woods had listened to SHINee's song "Romeo & Juliet."

Since then, Woods showed off his inner Shawol (SHINee fan) with an additional post on June 11. The new post featured the song "Symptoms" from the group's fifth mini album, "Everybody."

SHINee's fanclub name, "Shawol," is a combination of the two word title of SHINee's debut album, "SHINee World."

Xavier Woods is known through the wrestling world for being a dedicated fan to many different cultural phenomenom, such as "Power Rangers" and video games. Now, he can add K-pop to that list.
