"Scandal's" Kerry Washington is saying goodbye to Olivia Pope for a little while to become Anita Hall for the HBO film "Confirmation."

HBO has released a picture of her over Instagram while in character.

"FIRST LOOK. @KerryWashington as Anita Hill on the set of the HBO Film, CONFIRMATION," the post said as reported by Us Weekly.

Kerry Washington seemed excited for the venture and reposted it as well on Instagram.

"Dear @HBO, Thank you for the profound opportunity of getting to inhabit Anita Hill and help tell this story! Yours Truly, K-Dub (aka super excited Exec. Producer) #Confirmation," she wrote.

In the picture, as described by The Washington Post, Kerry Washington as Anita Halls is seen "posed in a Olivia Pope-like stance - at a news conference podium in a fashionable blazer."

Aside from Kerry Washington as Anita Hall and executive producer of the HBO "Confirmation" TV movie, Susannah Grant will co-executive producer and write the story as well. Rick Famuyiwa will direct.

Other stars in the HBO "Confirmation" movie are Wendell Pierce as Clarence Thomas and Greg Kinnear as Joe Biden.

Jennifer Hudson, Cobie Smulders, Erika Christensen, Eric Stonestreet, Grace Gummer, Jeffrey Wright, Dylan Baker and Alison Wright will also star in the TV film.

Deadline reported on Tuesday that Kimberly Elise, Kristen Ariza and Malcolm Gets have been added into the cast as well.

The HBO "Confirmation" movie, according to CNN, will tackle the sexual harassment issue raised by Anita Hill in 1991.

"Called 'Confirmation,' the telepic - which is in development from HBO Films - will detail the explosive 1991 Clarence Thomas-Hill Supreme Court nomination hearings, which brought the country to a standstill and forever changed the way people think about sexual harassment, victims' rights and modern-day race relations," the CNN article last March said.

HBO has yet to announce a release date for the Kerry Washington movie as Anita Hill.
