SHINee singer Onew  has come out with a cute new look on Instagram, revealing to fans his hairstyle and a pair of geeky glasses.

Onew uploaded a self-taken photo on Instagram sporting a brushed-up hairstyle - as opposed to the flat bangs he had been sporting during recent music show performances for "View" - and a pair of glasses with round metal frames.

"Waa you look so nice. I like that intellectual face," "Your hair cut and color is very pretty, really!" "Harry Potter" said fans, with the last comment referring to the popular wizard hero in the Harry Potter  books and movies which also sported black hair and round wiry frames.

Onew and the rest of SHINee have been racking up music show wins for "View", the title track of their latest album Odd. The "View" music video was also lauded as the most viewed K-Pop music video worldwide on YouTube in May.

Onew has also been gaining attention for a possible role in the upcoming drama Descendants of the Sun as a doctor that works with the female lead character played by Song Hye Kyo.

Together with Taemin, Onew also made a special guest appearance on Witch Hunt where the two revealed their ideal types. Onew said he prefers "fox-like girls" that flirt with him while Taemin liked less obviously seductive girls.
