CNBLUE's Kang Min Hyuk Holds 1st Solo Fan Meeting

CNBLUE drummer Kang Min Hyuk will be holding his first solo fan meeting in Bangkok, Thailand on July 25 at the BCC Hall Central Plaza Ladprao.

This is his first solo fan meeting since his solo debut 5 years ago. In an official press release from CNBLUE's label FNC Entertainment detailed how hard Kang worked hard to prepare for this fan meeting, which is titled, The Moment. The drummer-vocalist reportedly hopes to show different sides of him that fans have not seen before.

Kang has been active on South Korean television as of late, apearing on the programs "Crime Scene 2," "Mom's Watching" and, most recently, MBC's "I Live Alone."

The mulittalented musician is most likely looking forward to visiting Bangkok under happier circumstances than his last appearance there with CNBLUE in May of 2014. The concert was postponed from May 4 to May 16, out of respect for the victims of the South Korean Sewol ferry disaster which killed 304 people onboard, many of whom had been students on a class trip.

"A few weeks ago, there was a tragedy in Korea," said CNBLUE guitarist Jung Yong Hwa, according to the Korea Herald.

"Many Koreans are grieving. We know that many people in Thailand share the sorrow and prayers for Korea. We believe that we can give light for the people in sadness. We hope our music will be a light to them and you Bangkok!"
