Shinhwa Sweeps Polls in Third Day of KPopStarz Mid-Year Awards Voting

Things have certainly taken a turn towards the veterans as the voting to determine K-Pop's Best continues. Rising to the top in all three categories, veteran group Shinhwa is now the one to beat and the competition is fierce.

Coming in at 45.92 percent of the votes, Shinhwa's "Sniper" has a hefty lead over EXO's "Call Me Baby" in the category of Best K-Pop Song. With 17.65 percent of the votes, "Call Me Baby" has a three percent lead over INFINITE H's third place track, "Pretty" which currently holds steady at 14.74 percent.

Losing its hold on first, Jung Yong Hwa's "One Fine Day" falls to fourth with 6.71 percent of the votes but manages to keep a fair lead over Junsu's "Flower" which, with 3.31 percent of the votes has managed to maintain its hold on fifth. Big Bang's "Loser" falls to sixth with 2.67 percent of the votes. BTS's "I NEED U" and F.T. Island's "Pray" are in hot competition for seventh while SNSD's "Catch Me If You Can", Super Junior D&E's "Growing Pains", SHINee's "View", miss A's "Only You", BoA's "Kiss My Lips" and GOT7's "Around the World" are all battling to fill the final three positions in the Top Ten.

In the category of Best K-Pop Group, Shinhwa more than doubles yesterday's numbers, giving them a decisive lead over the competition. With 44.2 percent of the votes going to Shinhwa, it's going to be tough for second place group INFINITE to dethrone the current kings. Holding their own with 23.94 percent of the votes, INFINITE has an eight percent lead over third place EXO whose 15.91 percent puts them far ahead of the rest of the competition.

Coming in with 4.62 percent of the votes, CNBLUE falls to fourth place while Big Bang and TVXQ, both with roughly 2.4 percent of the votes, battle for fifth. With 1.3 percent of the votes, boy groups BTS and Super Junior duke it out for sixth while GOT7, BEAST and F.T. Island are all in close competition for seventh. Coming in at right around 0.3 percent of the votes, 2PM, 4MINUTE, 2NE1 and VIXX are all going to be hard-pressed if they want to make it into the Top Ten.

In a most surprising turn of events, JYJ's Jaejoong lost his solid first-place hold in the category of Best K-Pop Artist. With 15.86 percent of the votes, Jaejoong drops to second as Shinhwa's Eric rises to the top with 21.15 percent of the votes. Shinhwa bandmate Hyesung rose to third with 7.82 percent, knocking former third place holder, Yoochun to fifth.

U-Know Yunho keeps his hold on fourth with 6.25 percent of the votes while Yoochun ranks fifth with 5.05 percent. Junsu falls to sixth with 4.7 percent of the votes but Shinhwa's Andy is hot on his heels with 4.52 percent. Shinhwa's Minwoo and EXO's Chanyeol are in close competition for seventh while Dongwan, Ju Jin and Baekhyun all battle it out for eighth. Jung Yong Hwa and D.O both hold enough votes to possibly make it into the Top Ten in this category but landing a spot will be tough.

Did any of your favorites make it in the Top Three? If they didn't, don't worry; there's still plenty of time for you to cast your vote so be sure to do so daily!
