Royal Pirates' bassist James Lee has been badly injured.

On June 18, Royal Pirates' company Apple of the Eye updated their official Facebook page with a status of the event: "James Lee had an unexpected tragic accident last week while he was visiting a restaurant to meet with a friend. As James was walking into the restaurant, the door on main entrance crashed down on him and left severe damage on his left wrist. James received emergency surgery and is currently hospitalized for cure treatment and rehabilitation. He is fully focusing on recovering from the injury."

AOE continued on to apologize to fans for cancelling upcoming concerts and events due to James's injury. Their next album has also been postponed. Although disappointed in the delayed album, many fans are pleased to see that AOE is focused on James' recovery and supporting fellow Royal Pirates' members Moon and Soo Yoon.

AOE promised to update fans on James' condition and on the status of Royal Pirates' next album to the best of their abilities.
