'Man Of Steel' Better Than 'Dark Night?' Henry Cavill Dishes Details On 'Superman V Batman'

All biases aside, "Batman V Superman" star Henry Cavill will pick the Man of Steel against the Dark Knight in a street fight.

In an interview with WWD, he said however that Superman-knowing his strengths-wouldn't just accept any challenge that comes his way.

He said, "Superman wouldn't get into a cage fight with just anyone. Imagine, you wouldn't get into a fight with someone if they hit you and you didn't feel it, barely registered it. Superman wouldn't even notice; he's not quick to engage."

In "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice," the Man of Steel will be pitted against the aging Dark Knight, played by Ben Affleck. In the earlier trailer for instance, Superman can be seen hovering above Batman amid a lighting storm.

Batman, dressed in an armor, asks Superman, "Tell me, do you bleed?"

Cinema Blend, however, that even if Henry Cavill might pick Superman, the Man of Steel is not totally impervious.

In "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice," the article pointed out that aside from the armor, Batman will be holding a Kryptonite spear in the battle against Superman.

"Presumably Superman doesn't know Kryptonite exists (though he did feel similar, weakening effects in Man of Steel), so he would certainly be taken by surprise if he found that a strange green rock was negatively impacting him," the article said. "Still, this is an alien whose many powers include super speed, so even though Kryptonite is lethal to him, if he keeps his distance, he should be okay, though Batman probably has a contingency for that as well."

The storyline for "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" is heavily guarded, and naturally Henry Cavill was mum on the subject. But generally, the film will lay the groundwork for several stand-alone superhero films from DC such as Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman and Jason Momoa's Aquaman, who both will be introduced in the film.
