Shinhwa Claims First Three Days Straight In KPopStars Mid-Year Polls

For the third day in a row, veteran group Shinhwa comes out on top of the polls in every category of the KPopStarz Mid-Year Awards.

Keeping his grip on first tight in the category of Best K-Pop Artist, Shinhwa's Eric holds 17.59 percent of the votes while TVXQ's U-Know Yunho makes an impressive jump to second with 13.17 percent. Falling to third with 10.96 percent of the votes, Shinhwa's Minwoo holds a three percent lead over JYJ's Jaejoong who holds fourth with 8.92 percent.

Shinhwa's Hyesung, Dongwan, Andy and Jun Jin have an impressive hold on fifth through eighth place, respectively, making it nearly impossible for any other artist to claim a position in the Top Ten. SNSD's Jessica Jung makes an impressive jump to ninth with 3.09 percent of the votes while JYJ's Yoochun drops to tenth with 2.92 percent.

In the category of Best K-Pop Group, Shinhwa continues to dominate with an impressive 43.32 percent of the votes. INFINITE is still holding onto second with 19.8 percent of the votes while EXO holds third with 11.88 percent.

Super Junior makes an impressive jump to fourth with 6.99 percent of the votes while TVXQ clinches fifth with 5.3 percent. CNBLUE drops to sixth with 3.34 percent of the votes and in a surprising turn of events, BTS claims a 0.2 percent lead over Big Bang, dropping YG's veteran group to eight while BTS claims seventh. A 0.1 percent lead over GOT7 gives places BEAST in ninth while JYP's rookie group battles it out with Jellyfish's only boy group, VIXX for the final position in the Top Ten.

As has been the trend nearly all week, Shinhwa's "Sniper" claims the top spot in the category of Best K-Pop Song, raking in an astounding 50.71 percent of the votes. Claiming 13.42 percent of the votes for the position of second, INFINITE H's "Pretty" has a long road ahead if it wants to beat out the veteran competition. Meanwhile, EXO's "Call Me Baby" is definitely giving "Pretty" a run for its money as the margin between second and third is just over 1 percent.

With 5.7 percent of the votes, Jung Yong Hwa's "One Fine Day" keeps its position at fourth while Junsu's "Flower" takes a decisive lead over Big Bang's "Loser", claiming the position of fifth while "Loser" drops to sixth. With a mere 0.1 percent of a lead separating "Loser" from Super Junior D&E's "Growing Pains" the sixth and seventh positions are still very much up for grabs. BTS's "I NEED U" takes a 0.6 percent lead over VIXX's "Love Equation" placing both tracks comfortably in the eighth and ninth positions, respectively. SHINee's "View" holds its own at tenth, pulling ahead of the trailing competition by a mere 0.2 percent.

While the final standings in each category's Top Ten are still anyone's guess veteran group Shinhwa seems hard to beat. Of course with eleven days left to cast your vote, nothing is set in stone. Will any artist, group or song be able to dethrone the current kings? That's entirely up to you!
