Does Denise Jonas approve of Gigi Hadid dating her son Joe Jonas? Well, people will have to find out the answer to that in a month.

In an interview with People during the 2015 American Diabetes Association's Father of the Year Awards on Thursday, Denise Jonas was asked about the reported budding relationship between model Gigi Hadid and son DJ Joe Jonas.

"I don't know yet," Denise Jonas said when asked if she liked Gigi Hadid for son Joe Jonas.

"I have to see," she added. "We'll see! Check with me in a month."

It seemed, according to Just Jared, that momma Jonas preferred to "stay out" of the Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas dating status just like she did with Nick Jonas and Olivia Culpo, who reportedly have split.

"That whole relationship thing, I try to stay out of as a mom because all of my children's girlfriends and friends become part of my family and my heart," she told People as quoted by Just Jared.

Gigi Hadid purportedly attended the event as well with the Jonas family as reported by People. She did not walk the red carpet though with Joe Jonas.

They were seen together though post-event with Nick Jonas and some friends at The Abbey in West Hollywood.

"Gigi and Joe were sitting close together, playfully talking in each other's ears most of the night," an onlooker dished out to People.

"They kissed after Gigi got up and danced to 'Oops, I Did It Again,'" the onlooker added.

Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas were also sighted on Friday at Noah's Bagel before Jonas dropped off Hadid at the airport. Mail Online reported the two "shared a goodbye hug" before Hadid entered the airport.
