Local Pop Star JJ Lin Wishes CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa A Happy Birthday During Taiwan Concert

K-pop band CNBLUE member Jung Yong Hwa celebrated his birthday in Taiwan as a part of his solo Asia tour, 2015 Jung Yong Hwa Live One Fine Day, this past Saturday at the Taipei Tienmu Center.

All 4,000 seats for this concert sold out and fans also prepared a special birthday event by posting a birthday message on buses around Taiwan.

Popular Taiwanese musician JJ Lin, who also worked with Jung for his song, “Checkmate,” made a surprise appearance at the concert and sang happy birthday in Korean.

“I had no idea about any of this,” read a statement from Jung posted on Monday to the Korean news website OSEN.

On Monday, he met with fans in Korea to celebrate his birthday as well. He prepared various events in order to interact and get to know his fans better.

Jung will be holding an encore concert on July 18-19 at the Seoul Olympic Park Olympic Hall.

Jung Yong Hwa first announced news of his Asia tour in January, when he received an overwhelmingly positive response from fans.

“You’re the best Yong Oppa!” wrote RossyM in a comment posted on January 22 to the Korean news site Soompi.
