The Celebrity Releases Individual Girls' Generation Member Photos From July Photoshoot

All eight Girls' Generation members became cover models for the July issue of The Celebrity. The magazine has now revealed that not only will there be group portraits, but individual member images as well. Each idol portrayed an entirely different persona for the extensive photoshoot containing over two dozen images.

Yoona showed off old Hollywood glamor as a black-and-white era actress; Yuri became an athletic surfer; Sooyoung was a sweet animal lover; Taeyeon sizzled as a rebellious youth; Sunny turned serious for her role as a film director; Seohyun was her natural perfectionist self as a ballerina; Tiffany lived her designer dreams; and Hyoyeon embodied a punk style.

During the accompanying interview, Yoona discussed her spectacular blond transformation for the group's upcoming comeback. She stated, "I dyed my hair for the first time. So far, every time we've had album activities, it always coincided with drama filming so I had to maintain the same hair for several months. But this time, the timing was right. To change my mood, I attempted a drastic change."

Sooyoung also shared how her life as a student helped her cope with public scrutiny. She explained, "My mind changed a lot thanks to student life. As I lived the life of a normal student that I would've had if I hadn't become a singer, it made me think about my life."

She continued, "Through my school friends, I was able to understand how people live outside of Girls' Generation. They study hard and find jobs to live....there is a huge difference between knowing and not knowing life outside of the group."
