Game of Thrones’ Kit Harington Replaces Twilight’s Robert Pattinson In Cast Of ‘Brimstone’; It Looks Like Jon Snow’s Watch Is Ended

Game of Thrones star Kit Harington joins the cast of the upcoming film "Brimstone." Amid rumors that Jon Snow may not be done with his watch after the Game of Thrones Season 5 finale, Harington is stepping into Robert Pattinson's hot shoes.

Jon Snow was killed by the Night's Watch and we don't know if the character will returns for Game of Thrones Season 6.  Some say the Red Lady may have the magic to bring him back.

The Hollywood Reporter reported that Harington joined Martin Koolhoven's upcoming thriller "Brimstone: opposite Dakota Fanning (Night Moves), Guy Pearce (Lawless) and Carice van Houten (Game of Thrones). Also joining the cast are Paul Anderson ("Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows"), Jack Roth ("The Great Train Robbery") and Carla Juri ("Wetlands").

Harington replaces Twilight's Robert Pattinson who was announced as taking on the role during the Berlin film festival and market.

The former Jon Snow will play the role of an outlaw. Fanning stars as Liz, our protagonist on the run from her past and chased by Pearce's diabolical Preacher.  Pearce's character is the diabolical Preacher.

Jon Snow on Game of Thrones was Harington's first major TV role, He was previously seen on stage in the play "War Horse and Posh."

 "Brimstone," just started principal photography. The film will shoot on location in Romania, Spain and Germany.

The film, which is written and directed by Martin Koolhoven ("Winter in Wartime")

The movie is described as "a vivid and powerful epic of one woman's defiant resistance."

The film is being shot by cinematographer Rogier Stoffers ("The School of Rock").
