Competition Heats Up In KPopStarz Mid-Year Polls

The competition in KPopStarz's Mid-Year polls is heating up as the days left to cast your vote slowly dwindles.

Shinhwa's "Sniper" continues to dominate in the category of Best K-Pop Song bringing in 39.78 percent of the votes. However Super Junior D&E's "Growing Pains" made an impressive jump from fourth to second, proving this is still anyone's game. Raking in 11.55 percent of the votes, "Growing Pains" takes a 0.3 percent lead over INFINITE H's "Pretty," knocking yesterday's second place song down to third.

"Growing Pains" jump to second knocks EXO's "Call Me Baby" down to fourth but with a mere 0.68 percent standing between third and fourth, there's no telling what tomorrow's rankings may be. Meanwhile, SHINee's "View" continues to hold steady in fifth while Jung Yong Hwa's "One Fine Day" and BTS's "I NEED U" continue to duke it out for sixth, the 0.44 percent difference between the two making it impossible to determine which of these two will come out on top. Big Bang's "Loser" holds a 0.34 percent lead over Junsu's "Flower" which holds a 0.2 percent lead over GOT7's "Around the World," proving the battle to land a spot in the Top Ten is fierce.

In the category of Best K-Pop Group, Shinhwa claims 32.99 percent of the votes and the title of first. Super Junior continues to hold second with 17.79 percent of the votes while INFINITE remains third with 15.05 percent.

Trailing INFINITE by 4.77 percent, EXO remains well ahead of the remaining competition, claiming 10.28 percent of the votes and the position of fourth. TVXQ remains in fifth with 5.18 percent of the votes while BTS's 4.14 percent settles the septuplet comfortably in sixth. With 3.06 percent of the votes, GOT7 settles into seventh over CNBLUE who, with 2.62 percent seems set in eighth. With 1.91 percent of the votes, Big Bang claims ninth but BEAST's 1.77 percent, Boyfriend's 1.53 percent and VIXX's 1.01 percent holdings, the ninth and tenth positions in this category are far from settled.

Shinhwa's Eric continues to keep his grasp on first in the category of Best K-Pop Artist. With 17.01 percent of the votes, Eric holds a 4 percent lead over TVXQ's U-Know Yunho, who continues to hold his own in second while Shinhwa's Minwoo continues to hold third with 8.03 percent of the votes.

Holding steady in fourth, JYJ's Jaejoong brings in 6.9 percent of the votes while bandmate Yoochun makes an impressive jump to fifth as he claims 5.8 percent. Shinhwa's Andy, Dongwan, Hyesung and Jun Jin claim positions six through nine a mere 0.5 percent separating the four while SNDS's Jessica Jung comes in tenth with 3.44 percent.

Will Shinhwa continue to dominate these polls or is it possible we'll see an upset in these last few days of voting? That's entirely up to you so be sure to cast your vote daily!
